Game Rules
Updated 26 October 2026 · Tradenopoly Inc
1. Members and starting money
- A confirmed email is required. After signup you finish your profile before playing.
- Arcade accounts are COMPLETELY FREE FOREVER and start with 0 play bills. Free game access is limited to arcade gameplay and leaderboards; trading, assets, companies, banks, networks and chat require an Economy account.
- Every new Economy account receives 1,000,000 starting play bills once. Economy unlocks the full game, including businesses and HQ, Market, Showroom, luxury assets and auctions, Investor Robot, War Room, courts, police and jail, banks, governments, Members Only, lottery, network and chat.
- Starting grants are one-time play-bill credits, not real money or withdrawable funds.
2. Arcade and Economy membership
- There is one Economy plan: $9.99 per month. Each player may found 1 active business and be a co-owner of unlimited businesses. Co-owned businesses do not count toward the founding limit. Arcade accounts are completely free forever; there are no Basic, Premium or Elite membership tiers.
- Economy includes a 3-Day Free Trial. A card is required to activate; after the trial, membership renews at $9.99 per month unless you cancel. Payments are handled through Xsolla. Cancel anytime; cancelling an active paid membership keeps access until its paid period ends.
- A missed payment or a trial ending without payment locks Economy access immediately. You remain hidden from player search while unpaid. Assets are protected for 30 days and are not auctioned during that period. If still unpaid after 30 days, the account is deactivated and assets are put up for auction.
- Your bank balance is never wiped, including when you return to free Arcade or renew after 30 days. Renewing restores Economy access, but does not reverse completed asset auctions or company bankruptcy.
- Verified admin accounts have free, anytime Economy access without membership payment, trial activation or payment lockout.
- Arcade is open to all ages. Economy includes mature fictional crime and corporate warfare; players must be mature enough for that content. Membership purchasers must be legally able to contract or have a parent or guardian's permission.
- Business creation and paid Economy plans are not available in Belgium or Brazil; free Arcade remains available there.
3. Creating a business
- Players may found only 1 active business, but may co-own unlimited other businesses. The founding owner adds co-owners by player username. Being a co-owner does not use your own founding slot.
- Each business picks a category, up to 3 subcategories, country and state, delivery method (shipping, pick up or digital), price range, operating history and a description.
- Businesses pitch their company stock to Investor Robots. No external business link is required, and there are no product showcases or email lists.
- Businesses appear automatically in the Showroom and on Home, grouped into Physical, Digital and Services. Do not impersonate other people or brands.
4. Cards and referrals
- Each business may hold one card per social platform. Cards share to the right platform in one click and carry a unique signup link and QR code. Card backs are black with the Tradenopoly emblem.
- Player referral cards carry a signup link and QR code. Economy players share their player and business cards from Refer & Earn; the page shows tracked signups and qualifying referral rewards. Player profiles do not collect shopping categories.
- Signups through business, investor and asset card links count toward referral tracking. Referral attribution uses game accounts, not shared email lists.
- Self-referrals, duplicate accounts and fake signups do not count. Players who join through a business card receive 1 free share of stock in that business. There is no daily per-signup payout.
5. Referral bonuses
- Earn 1,000,000 play bills for every player you refer who makes it through the 3-day Economy free trial. Referrals count only once the trial converts to a paid membership. Share your player and business cards (with QR codes) from the Refer & Earn page.
6. Company stock
- Company investing is robot-managed: fund your personal Investor Robot to buy company shares. Manual day-trading positions remain separate from share ownership.
- Choose robot categories, the largest percentage of its portfolio one stock can hold, and how many stocks it may own, including unlimited. Every five minutes it diversifies using stock-pitch ads and buying activity. Wallet top-ups follow your daily cap.
- Robots invest long term and do not sell for normal dips or profit-taking. They automatically sell after damaging arson or rumor-campaign news. You may pull out anytime; all stock-sale proceeds go to your wallet. Profits are not guaranteed.
- Owners choose up to 1,000,000,000 authorized shares and must always keep at least 1% ownership.
- Each share bought adds 50% of its price to the owner's wallet and 50% to the business treasury.
- Every 100 shares bought raise the price by 1 play bill; every 100 sold lower it by 1 play bill. No email-list milestone is required.
- Shareholders earn 25% of each share's current value every day. Business owners earn 50% of the current value of all shares sold every day. Holdings and sell controls appear on the Assets page.
7. Debt and bankruptcy
- When shareholders sell, the treasury pays first, then the owner's cash. Any shortfall forces the owner to auction assets of their choosing; play is locked until the debt is covered.
- If the debt still cannot be paid, the company goes bankrupt and is erased, shareholders are notified, and the owner may restart with the same name.
- A missed Economy payment (or a trial that ends unpaid) locks you out of the economy immediately and hides you from search. Assets are protected for 30 days; if still unpaid after 30 days, the account is deactivated and its assets are auctioned. Your bank balance is never wiped, even if you return to a free Arcade account or renew later.
8. Day trading
- The Market lets Economy members trade on the spectator side: Buy if a stock will rise, Short if it will fall, with up to 50x leverage. Day traders do not own shares.
- Set or drag stop-loss and take-profit lines on the chart, and switch between candle and line charts from 1 minute to yearly timeframes. Use News to follow market updates. Leveraged positions can lose play bills.
9. Luxury assets
- Spend play bills on cars, aircraft and spacecraft, boats, robots, exotic animals, real estate, land and resources, fine art, weapons and armor, and jewelry.
- Each edition has a limited supply, its own serial, a random card color and trim; each model also has a 1-of-1 Grail at 10x the price. UFOs are featured flagship spacecraft.
- Individual drop odds for every color and trim are shown on the Assets page.
10. Auctions and ads
- Only luxury assets can be auctioned; business cards cannot be listed. Assets sell through five-minute auctions with a five-minute window to cancel before going live, and live alerts when a new item arrives. Tradenopoly keeps 10% of each sale. Bids are held and refunded when outbid.
- Unsold items wait for their next round, and the owner may cancel before it recirculates. Items with no value and no bids for 30 days are removed.
- Companies bid daily on ad slots that pitch their stock to members, starting at 10,000 play bills, 100 slots per category; late bids extend by five minutes. Investor Robots scan these ads to choose stocks.
11. Daily Lottery
- Economy players may play up to 5 tickets per daily draw. Pick 4 single numbers (0–9); every 24 hours Tradenopoly reveals 4 hidden numbers and picks new ones. Match all 4 in exact order to win 100x your bet.
- Bets start at 1,000 play bills and go up in steps of 1,000 with no upper limit. All lottery bets go to the #1 government (Tradenopoly Inc until a government exists).
12. Defenses, Immunity and Dismantling
- Business physical security costs 25,000 and insurance and counter-intelligence 10,000 play bills per day. Business rates are 10x individual rates.
- Any active defense can add Immunity at 10x its daily price, by the day, week, month or year. Defenses with Immunity cannot be dismantled.
- Rivals may dismantle a business defense for 3x its daily price, or a player's personal cybersecurity for 2x. Players may cancel their own personal defenses free at any time.
13. Arcade
- Arcade games are free to play. Signed-in players earn 1,000,000 play bills per full hour of counted arcade play and a 100,000,000 bonus at each cumulative 24-hour milestone. Counted time is saved between visits; hidden tabs do not count. The old 100-play-bill reward per 10 minutes is retired.
- The cabinet joystick and buttons animate, but do not control publisher games. Use each game's own controls.
14. Arcade Tournaments
- Tournaments replace combat duels. The creator picks how many players can join (2 to 20) and the entry fee: 10,000, or 50,000 and up. Every entrant pays the same entry and all entries form the pot.
- The tournament starts automatically when the room fills and lasts 24 hours. Before it starts, any entrant may leave for a full refund. After it starts, entries cannot be refunded.
- Only play bills earned from counted arcade play time during those 24 hours count toward your score. The top earner wins the whole pot; players tied for first split it. You can be in one open or live tournament at a time. Jailed or kidnapped players cannot create or join tournaments.
15. Inbox and avatars
- Economy members can use Inbox for private one-to-one DMs between players only. The shared Chat Room and system alerts stay separate from your Inbox. Free Arcade membership does not include chat or private messaging.
- The Chat Room has an All Chat plus topic rooms: Business, Trading, Arcade, Combat and Off-topic. Messages stay in the room where they were sent, are visible to signed-in players, are limited to 500 characters and can be deleted by their sender.
- Arcade and Economy accounts use the same avatar creator, with suits only and no pets. Customize gender, build, skin tone, hair, facial hair, suit color and tie/pocket-square color; alternate clothes, shoe choices, watches, jewelry and accessories are not available.
- Direct messages follow the same safety and acceptable-use rules as other player content. Blocking a player closes your private conversation in both directions.
16. Player network
- A player enters your network only after you accept their connection request. You can decline incoming requests or cancel pending requests; either connected player may remove the connection.
17. Courts, Police & Jail and Loan Shark
- You can sue a player for a 10,000-play-bill fee, or a business for 100,000 (its founding owner answers; business cases use 500,000 Corporate Lawyers) by picking the player and the crime from lists. The defendant can settle the claim or contest it at a one-game-day (24 hour) trial. The court checks real evidence: sue the right person for the right crime and you win; the wrong person or the wrong crime and you get nothing. Lawyers cost 100,000 play bills per trial — a defendant with a lawyer gets the case dismissed automatically.
- War Room arson costs 10,000 play bills per attempt for supplies, with one attempt per target every 24 hours. Active physical security blocks damage entirely; otherwise share value falls by 25%, rounded down to whole play bills with a 1-bill minimum. Active insurance covers full reconstruction and restores the share price after an attack.
- Victims may report their recorded arson evidence once. Confirmed reports add a 3-day real-time jail sentence for the offender. Police & Jail displays the roster. Jailed players cannot launch War Room operations, buy stock, file lawsuits, or enter arcade tournaments until their sentence ends.
- Kidnapping costs 1,000 play bills per attempt. The kidnapper sets the ransom and stays anonymous. While held, the victim can only play arcade games. The victim's network is alerted and can crowdfund the ransom; a full pool frees the victim and pays the kidnapper. If unpaid after 72 hours, the Alien Police rescue the victim, refund every contributor, and jail the kidnapper for 5 days. Active security on any of the target's businesses repels the attempt.
- Shareholder poaching costs a 10,000 play-bill fee plus your bonus offer, held in escrow. The rival's shareholder has 24 hours to accept — their entire stake becomes yours and they keep the bonus — or decline, which refunds the bonus. Expired offers are refunded.
- The robot police scan private messages for crimes. Owners and board members of the same company may legally discuss inside trades with each other; anyone else trading on inside tips is arrested for insider trading. Messages conspiring to sabotage a business are arrestable for anyone: 1 day in jail plus a 10,000,000 play-bill fine, or 3 days for coordinated groups of 3 or more.
- Loan Shark offers match eligible arcade earnings from the last 24 hours. Loans currently add 20% to the amount due and must be repaid within 7 days; partial repayment is allowed. Unpaid loans are marked overdue, with no automatic jail penalty currently implemented.
18. Play money only
- Play bills, stock, shares, dividends, assets and cards have no cash value. They cannot be bought for cash, withdrawn, redeemed or converted to money or crypto, and they are not securities.
19. Safety and privacy
- All uploaded photos are safety-checked and must be kid-friendly. There are no email lists, email sharing or marketing-email exports in the game. An email used for account sign-in is not a collectible or business marketing contact.
Publisher games and ads
Games stay embedded inside Tradenopoly for Arcade and Economy accounts. Publisher games may show third-party ads before or during play; no account receives an ad-free version of these games. Let the publisher's ad finish and use its own controls. If a game stays blank, reload or choose another game. Ad availability and loading depend on the publisher, your connection, browser settings, consent choices and device. Tradenopoly cannot guarantee an ad impression or verify ad completion from an iframe loading. Existing balances and saved counted time remain unchanged.
